The Cumbria RRS aims to create a healthier and more sustainable environment for both people and wildlife.<br /> <br /> A feasibility study of the removal of this weir was undertaken by JBA Consulting in 2016 to identify the most appropriate option. All the necessary permissions and consents were then obtained and extensive consultation was undertaken.
