This is the full document of the high level review defining the key drivers and European Union legislation and policies that promote complex and integrated forms of floodplain and catchment river restoration. It identifies the most significant barriers and constraints that need to be overcome in EU Member States. Examples of good practice are also referenced to facilitate an exchange of information between stakeholders within and across different Member States.
